Project Background

Holly Grove School, Burnley Campus provides special educational needs to students with learning difficulties and has been identified as a site that requires additional space due to increased demand. The expansion of Holly Grove will displace some accommodation currently part of Barden Primary School; therefore replacement accommodation for Barden Primary School is also planned.

During this expansion project, both schools are taking the opportunity to add separate entrances and reception points for both Holly Grove and Barden primary, to improve pupil safeguarding and improving security.
